Maintenance

Broken things get fixed — and stay fixed.

The bar tap pouring foamy, the walk-in door that won't seal — today that's a text somebody forgets. In standley it's #M-004: reported with a photo, assigned or opened to the floor, fixed with proof, and closed only when you've checked the work.

Maintenance

Every broken thing, tracked from “it's busted” to fixed and verified.

A server flags the walk-in with a photo. You acknowledge it, post instructions, and someone on the floor claims it, fixes it, and shoots an after photo. Every issue carries its own reference, an activity thread, the vendor contact, and what the fix cost — so nothing lives on a sticky note by the register anymore.

Report → acknowledge → fix → verify, with photo proof at each step
Log the cost + receipt, or mark it "management will handle it"

Report

Anyone can flag it, in thirty seconds

A server spots the wobbly table, snaps a photo, sets the urgency, done. The issue gets its own number and its own thread — every comment, photo, and handoff lives on the record, not scattered across texts. You hear about it the moment it's filed.

Decide

You choose who fixes it

Post instructions and open it to the floor, hand it to a specific person, or keep it with management and call the vendor. Until you decide, staff see "a manager is on it" — nobody freelances a gas line. Vendor contacts live right on the record, one tap to call.

Verify

Fixed isn't done until you've seen it

A fix comes back with a note and an after photo, and the issue waits on your check. Verify it and it closes; don't, and it stays in your queue. Before-and-after photos stay on the record, so the same leak six months later has a history.

The money

Know what breaking down actually costs

Capture what each fix cost — with a receipt photo if there is one — and see the year's total at a glance. When the third repair on the same fryer costs more than the fryer, you'll have the numbers in hand.

Common questions

Who can report an issue?
Anyone on the team, from their own app — with a photo and a priority. Reporting takes under a minute, which is why things actually get reported instead of mentioned once and forgotten.
Can staff just grab any issue and start fixing?
No. An issue only opens to the floor after management posts instructions — or you assign it to a specific person, or keep it with management entirely. Until then, staff see that a manager is on it.
What about repairs a vendor handles?
Keep the issue with management and call the vendor straight from the record — your vendor contacts live in the app, shared with payables. The repair still gets its thread, its photos, and its cost.
Does it track what repairs cost?
Yes — each fix can carry a cost and a receipt photo, and the year's maintenance spend totals up automatically, with a report you can export for your accountant.
